North 40 Lodge is perfectly located near the best attractions in the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Georgia. Guests love our central location because we are near Helen, Clayton, Unicoi Park and Lake Burton. We are also only 1.5 hours from Atlanta and offer a memorable getaway.

Our accommodations are self check-in. Check-in is at 3pm and check-out is at 11am.
Early check-in at 1:30 is $35 upon availability with advanced notice. Late check-out at 12:30 is $35 if available with advanced notice.
Dogs 40lbs and under are allowed in our two pet friendly rooms with advanced notice and a pet fee.
Room amenities, including spa quality toiletries and s’mores for two. It also includes access to the market and all common areas for lounging and enjoying outdoors.
We don’t currently offer EV charging, but it’s in our future plans.
- If you cancel 8 or more days in advance of stay you will receive a 100% refund.
- If you cancel within 7 days of stay you will receive a 50% refund.
- If you cancel within 3 days before stay there is no refund.
As a small, independently owned business, cancellations have a significant impact on our ability to serve guests. For added peace of mind, we offer Reservation Protection for $40 per day, per room which must be purchased within 24 hours of booking the room. This allows you to cancel at any time for a full refund (minus the protection fee). If there’s any uncertainty about your travel plans, we strongly recommend adding this option.

We do offer catered packages for group stays. There is also an on-site market that sells quick-heat meals and snacks that can be easily heated using the in-room air fryers and microwaves. There are some great dining choices nearby as well.
